Then there were two

Elise and I 'tied' our second chair the other night.  My neighbor had put a pair of chairs on the curb this summer, as they were too expensive to recane.  I had always intended to try recaning myself, but you see how far it got with my Grandma's chair, which is actually important to me.  So I pulled the caning off one of them, and we wove it with ties, too.  Clover is modeling that one.  (Note her piteous cry for attention.)  Tiny still likes to sit under them as well.

We also hung a sign in the kitchen, to keep track of Albin's whereabouts.  Elise labelled it with the two likely locations, so he can turn it to the correct one.  I think it will work for awhile...

We made spritz cookies this afternoon, and sugar cookies are ready to roll out after supper.  Albin is taking peanut and alfredo sauce to a white elephant party, where he is also going to unload some hideous mugs we have.  (Sorry, Mom and Dad, but they are pretty awful.)  He wrapped them up so they look fabulous--always the thing to do, right?

Evie was recently extolling your spritz cookie prowess. The chairs look awesome AND comfy, and I LOVE the sign. There are some funny personalization possibilities.
