Christmas recap

We had the camera out while the children opened their Santa and few family presents this morning, but didn't take any pictures the rest of the day.  (And this was before my parents were up, but they are indeed still here.)  Albin is showing off his onyx dice for gaming, and Elise made a penguin out of her modeling chocolate (both are from Brenda--and just perfect for them!)

We played half a game of Life and Scrabble, I had a nap, and mostly we just puttered around.  Everyone but Albin went to church--lots of beautiful singing!, and to see the Olin lights afterward.

Today there are plans afoot to visit Duluth Trading Company, a camera repair store (our camera is getting crazier and crazier).  We also plan to make lots of desserts.  There are suggestions for banana cream, apple, and cherry pie, and I want to make a batch of Spritz with my mom while she is here, as she is the spritzmaking queen.  I suggested we eat nothing but pie today if we really make all three kinds of pie, but there may be some ham and bean soup in the picture, too.

We hope everyone had a merry Christmas, full of fun, family, and friends!
