As if we don't get enough sweet treats this month, we really pack them in for the next few days. Elise's half birthday is today, so she made cupcakes for our traditional half-cupcake dessert. Doesn't she look like Almost a Teenager? (That reminds me that we should actually eat them now.) My birthday is Saturday, so there's another cake for you, and we've made at least four batches of cookies this month. No wait, five. Thank goodness we brought some to potluck recently, 'cause that is a dang lot of cookies.
So my goal now is to post something new here every day for two weeks. Even over Christmas. Even when we have family visiting and are distracted by making more cookies, or playing scrabble, or something. Let's see if I can pull it off. And if we are really lucky, some of those posts will include pictures of Albin. He has plans to play Magic with friends for the next two days, though, so he won't be in the house much. We shall see.
