Here are a few pictures of comfort that I have found lately:
Our big, sweet kitty, home safe and sound.
My temporary knitting nest at the Sow's Ear
My old stove as decoration...and useful antique holder (until we decide to repair it.
Our new shelf, which Elise and I found at an antique store. It is actually a Canada Dry carrying case, but we plan to put it on the wall to give us a bit more working space on the table.

I was going to ask about that stove (I saw it in another post of yours). Waaayyyyyyy coool! I hope to one day have a cookstove. We have a woodburner in our livingroom but I want a cookstove in the kitchen. It will heat and cook. Y
So glad Al is back!
I found a bag with your naem on it under my desk--it is your Christmas card and mints from us! I am so sorry (and embarrassed) that I dropped the Christmas ball on this one!
Hopefully we'll see each other soon!
Christmas mints are good anytime, Jen! I want to give you our rosemary plant before I kill it. I hope we see you soon, because it's still alive.
I sort of have longings for a woodstove, Jodi, but I'm afraid what the summertime baking would be like. Maybe if we finagle the Lynches into building us a mud oven, I wouldn't have to worry about baking us into heatstroke in July... : )
