Duluth

We're having a lovely time in Duluth with Greg and Denise.  We went out for dinnere last night (locally owned restaurant with a garden in the parking lot).  Very good food!  Denise made us breakfast this morning (also really good food).  After that, it was off to the Lake!

We spent time at several places along the Shore, and Elise swam a lot.  (Unfortunately, she got a pretty bad burn, but we didn't notice that until we got home.)  We did several of our favorite things--looked for agates, looked at antiques/junk in a collectibles shop, had lunch at Tom's logging camp (fabulous hummus sandwich and wild rice soup), and shopped at the candy shop and the yarn shop.

After dinner, Denise and Greg took us out to meet friends of theirs, a lovely homeschooling family who are currently restoring a beautiful old house near the Lake.  I hope we can see them again the next time we are up here visiting.

Now it's time for knitting and crocheting, and playing games.  Tomorrow we will stop at Canal Park on our way to Hayward (and I hear the Goodwill in Superior is pretty good, too...).
