To buy or not to buy

We're planning to buy a new camera soon.  I've got it picked out and everything, but I can't decide whether to buy it now or next month...  There's something we want it for this weekend, but we've been putting any 'leftovers' in the checking account into our travel fund for Karl and Elise's trip to NYC this spring.  So I hate to eat up the leftovers.  But I found a good, cheap camera--good enough for us, anyway.  (Jeff, avert your eyes--the thought will probably kill you.)  So we'll see.  And maybe someday you will see pictures on here again!  (Though it will probably be dressmaking progress, if that interests you...)
