I spent hours today copying out the (mostly) correct bodice pattern, then laying all the pieces out on some fabric I got at St. Vinnie's so I can properly calculate the yardage. It's hard to see in the pictures, as my fabric is almost as white as the tracing paper, but I won't need to buy as much as I had orginally thought. And silk is expensive, so it's good to think about it.
Oh heck. Who wants to see pictures of tracing paper on the floor? Look what other things I found on the camera card:
| The men of the house making their first batch of root beer |
| Our first forced bloom--our kitchen smells heavenly! |
| 20's style shoes I found at Goodwill, and immediately returned as they were SO painful. |
| The 'pouf' muslin for Emily's dress |
Karl and I have a date tomorrow. We're going to a coffee tasting class--should be fun!

I absolutely love the bustle! WOW! is this going to be a wedding dress? Or just a fun dress-up dress?
