Here's a few pictures from the weekend of Grandma's birthday party. She doesn't look 90, does she : )? Lots of people came to her party--I should have taken more pictures, but got distracted with cake and coffee pots. Oh well. Jeff took a lot of pictures, he'll probably email some to me if I bother him enough.
We had a picnic the next morning, before we all left for home, to try to eat as much of that leftover cake as possible. We put a dent in it, but I bet Grandma has enough left for another week. It was really good cake. The wind was slightly cool, but overall, a beautiful spring day to be out in the park with family!
Elise made another cake on Monday, which is Grandma's actual birthday, so we celebrated again in spirit. Hmmmm, guess we just couldn't get enough cake this weekend.
Greg brought our new kayak down from up north, and Karl devised a way to hang it from the ceiling in our living room. Doesn't it look great? Now we just need to get it into the water, once we get Albin a PFD, of course. We've decided it should really be Albin's kayak, as long as he lets us use it once in awhile...
